So I just got my K5 and the previous owner had recently painted it but decided to close up the holes where the K5 Emblems are supposed to go. I want to put them back on but not sure exactly where they are supposed to go on the fender. I also want to know if there is an adhesive version out there or do I have to re-drill the holes? Unsure where the holes need to go. I did find these measurements in an earlier post but it kind of indicates passenger side with driver reverse. 3 3/8" from rear of fender at door to B on Blazer of passenger side. 2" down to top of b from body line on fender is that correct? Any help would be great! Thanks

I can't help much on the location. If you want to stick them on instead of bolt on, you can just cut the studs off the bolt on versions. With today's adhesives you can find some good 3M double stick tape to put them on with. That's how all of the new vehicle badging is done; at least all that I've seen.

Double sided tape for sure. Check out your local junk yard and take measurements and pics. Might even be able to pick up some of the badges.

I dont know if they are in the same place as a 1974, but tomorrow i can get you some kind of idea....like how far from the door gap and how far down from the fender/hood gap

Well, here is what it looks like with a tape measure from two direction, with the end even with the gap edge: Looks like 4 3/8" from the door/fender gap is where the emblem begins. Sort of looks like 5 3/8 is center from the hood / fender gap. At least this gives you a window.
