I got an 86' K5, the engine is ether a 302(4in bore 3in troke) or a 305(with a 350 crank)? What engine is it?

305. Chevy hasn't put out a 302 in years.

Okay, sorry, got another question to add. Is the 305 block the same as a 350. As in can you bore out the measly 3.735 bore to 4.000 or is that asking to much?

i thought all the small blocks were the same..just with different bores and stuff..
No, a 305 doens't have enough meat in the cylinder walls. Besides 350 blocks are super cheap.
