I enjoy watching these videos. Here is a floor replace on the K5. If I was cutting out this much floor I would have used braces for the door and done one side at a time.

Wow.. that was alot of hidden rust. I wonder if the carpet had something to do with that, holding in moisture.
some sections had some bad rust, other sections looked like maybe it could have been wire wheel and naval jelly.
