K5 frame change

FWIW, my truck is a 78 chassis that originally had d44 front, 12 bolt rear, totally untouched stock. Swapped on an 85 tub and had no issues at all. Bolted rite on

Sorry, thats all there is. I have the 79 manual and it has the exact same chart also.
Would be cool if someone could use a frame and make a print like that one for our resources sticky, it would help alot of people

Thanks for looking and YES, that would be a fantastic resource. My search goes on. The photos of the 78 frame provided some help but as #Poze mentioned, parts of his frame were removed. I welcome ANY 78 Frame Photos.

If so let me know what angles/spots you need photos of. Could even tape measure some distances if need be

I'm interested in the placement of the body mounts in front of the forward spring hanger and placement of the crossbrace in the same area.

I'm going to need to remove my cross brace, fabricate a new brace and place it in the location of the brace in the 78. I can probably install my mid-frame body mount AFTER I put my body tub back on. I'll attach it to the tub then bolt it to the frame based on where it sits.

ANY photos and measurements will be welcome. You ever make it to my area and beer is on me!

Hey Zombie K5 why not just put a different crossmember in the same location as the 77 “Tall “ crossmember?

This is pretty late because my memory didn't work...

It isn't the proper vintage of chassis, it's a '90. The original one from mine. I pulled it off of this and put it on the '79 chassis
