And its in a 55* shop too...let me know.

I also have a 74 GM service manual....not sure if the dimensions are in there or not.

well i dont wanna put you through all that trouble if you can gimme the width thats a start haha... i need all the goofy angles of the kick up front and rear and when the begin and what the elevation change i gotta plug all those in on CAD and do work i know thats alotta measurin'... it gets to a little tedious.. i appreciate the help though!

check my thread "IRONMAIDEN" for how I have the frame "on a level plane" before I started taking out crossmembers, and boxing. If anything can be had, let me know. I'll try to remember to see if I have a bodyshop type reference drawing of frame measurements.

There are at least two different second gen blazer frames. So if you include the first gen, that is three.
You going to have more specific on which frame you need.

We were just talking about this the other night. I'm not sure if the breaks were clean at each year of if there was some half production changes so the cross over years.... I'm not 100%

You have 73-78 I believe somewhere in 1978 they changed the foot well for the back seat which caused frame changes in the center. Frame rails behind the front shackles are straight all the way back from 1973-1978.

So, 79-80 carried the closed frame horn ends and the wide center area. This is the bastard frame.

81-91, In 1981 the changed some stuff on the very front of the frame. Frame horns are open ended and the body mounts are different as well.

I think this is how it goes, somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I don't know of any other significant changes outside of what i've mentioned, It wouldn't surprise me if there were some smaller changes I've overlooked so if you know 'em, post 'em up.

1990 KA105 frame. specific enough for yah basic frame dimensions are the same.
Well yes, I don't think I have any information for you, but 76 zimmer's frame is closer to what I have.

As to cyberfire, Yes the 79-80 are a bastard frame, I don't know how close the stamping are to 81-91 frames. It could be there are four different frames.
68-72 The first gen frame,
73-78 second gen frame, first design,
79-80 the bastard frame, second design,
81-91 second gen frame, third design.
That is a lot of inventory for if you are going to be selling those boxing kits.

I don't have a KA105 listed in my book, only the truck frames.
They are all listed as P2xx, and P3xx.

Just to muddy up the water, iirc there is a part number change on frames in '83 - don't know what the changes might have been though.

I think this particular type of info is a one-off deal. I found it by searching the "Tech Articles (advanced preview)" forum.

Too bad on that. I really had my hopes up. I guess this does tell us though that the documentation is out there!
