Need one just like that, but unfukced. ;)

If you're parting a K5 and it has a good fuel door, maybe you could hack a few inches around the entire assembly...

No idea what that would be worth, but as you can see mine is in pretty bad shape.

Let me know what you have.

There are plenty of them in the junk yard here. I don't know how much they go for but i could grab you one for whatever the cost is plus shipping. I however don't have any way to cut sheet metal (while at the junk yard) around the door to get you the "extra" though.
 
Hey Rene, I've got a wrecked '88 burb I'm cutting up. I assume the fuel door is the same as a Blazer. I could cut the section out if you think it'll work. Maybe size it to fit a large Flat-rate box, but I'm not sure what shipping would be to The Great White North.:D

I'm sure it's close enough that it'd work. i'm willing to take a chance on it.

As for shipping, USPS in a flat rate should be pretty reasonable. Let me know how much you want, and what the shipping would be to Surrey, BC Canada. I can pm an exact address if you need it.

Also, I forgot to ask in PM, the 'burb filler has a metal box on the inside of the fender behind the filler. Do you want that part of it?
 
I don't think i need that. As long as the door, hinge and skin is there I should be fine. Whatever is in behind my current bashed set-up can probably be re-used.

I'm just curious to see how long it takes to get there. I sent it March 1, and I'm sure Rene will let me know when he gets it. I've just heard stories of how slow things are to cross the border.:crazy:
 
I don't think the issue from the states to Canada is nearly as great as it is from Canada to the states. I ordered a gasket kit from NWF once and it took 2 weeks to reach me.

So, will that piece fit your needs on the blazer, Rene? I hope USPS didn't fold it in half or stick it in a press before it got there.:D
