K5 gas tank inlet

Is the K5 gas tank inlet suppose to be at an angle like this? On my gas tank I think it may have gotten bent upwards when removing. Would it be ok to try and bend it down or could that cause problems? 1786152554866.png
 
I can’t remember how mine is but I’d expect the filler tube to have a slight angle upward so fuel goes into the tank and doesn’t puddle.
 
How much space do you have between the filler tube and the floor? On my K5 the filler tube is hitting the floor at the inlet neck.

Put a one inch body lift.
Bending this will most likely cause damage
