K5 Hood, and QT panels, COSTLY!!! Help

Well I "thought" I made the decision of just buying new body parts for my 76' K5 as the old ones are rusted up (hood/ quarter panels) but now that ive looked into it a little more, man new ones are like $300-$400 a peice shipped!! Is that right? The only site ive looked at was LMC as they seem to have everything for my 76' K5. Im going to be busted on my first buy.

Any suggestions? I had in mind they should be like maybe in the highs of $150-$200, its that damn shipping that gets you..

I used them and got my doors for $53 each.. although it is aftermarket and not as thick metal but I dont care... also front grill was $10

Find a friend in the west or southwest and get him to send you one they are pretty cheap here I ended up scrapping mine cuz no-one wanted it fenders too.

Yep, sounds right. They ain't cheap.
