I'd like to see some of your all's interiors whether it be just a clean interior or custom interiors I'm getting ready to start my k5 build and id like some cool interior ideas. What a line Xd floor would look like or where to mount an amp and some subs so it would look trick just some cool ideas.

No pics handy b/c the Blaze is gutted for paint, but mine will be completely bedlined with
http://sprayonbedliners.info/ . Carpet will be replaced in the cab area, but not in the rear. All interior trim will be replaced.

I have a 12" sub in the back in a small portable box. The amp was mounted under the front passenger seat with speaker wires hidden all the way to the rear. Some people like to mount them behind the bedside trim panels, but others say there's not enough air circulation back there.

This is all I have at the moment. I just finished painting and installing my roll bars but haven't got pics yet.

Thanks it's a B&M ratchet shifter. It's ok but can be a pain in the ass until you figure it out.

When I bought it it already had the upholstery done so I finished it off by putting in a new cover lay on the dash, new door panels, and set of roll bars. I later discovered that there was an amp all hooked up and ready hidden inside the fender wall behind the upholstery. My done did the paracord work as my Xmas gift. I still need to find a horn button.

Here are a few more.

Well the roll bars had tabs for lights so rather than just cutting them off we wrapped the tabs in paracord for cushion in case some one hits their head and ran what amounts to a really long paracord keychain across all the tabs and made "oh ****" handles.

And when it comes to the amp, I just got lucky. It was a cheap 600w (supposedly) amp, but it worked so I tossed in a 10" Kicker sub from the pawn shop. The only thing is that the motor sounds so good I rarely turn the radio on, so the speaker box is a bit of a waste of space.

Here is a closer look at the roll bar and steering wheel.

HAHA iv had some friends it the roll bar in my blazer several times so hard the whole truck rattled, i think iv hit it once or twice too so not a bad idea haha. pretty clean truck you got though mine looks like the insides been to hell and back, cant wait to get started on it, i just hate working in the friggin cold.

I hear that brother! Cold weather sucks.
You should check JC Whitney I think they sell DIY prefab carpet kits for around $125.
It's well worth it as far as looking better and adding to the resale value. The bed liner is a good choice if you are going to be in the mud or leaving the top off because you can just power wash it at the car wash. Either way the cost will be about the same.

I just wish the exterior was in as good of shape as the interior on my rig. It had a lot of rust when I got it. Slowly but surely I'm getting it all filled in with Bondo, when the weather is nice and I have time. When I get all of the patchwork done on the body, I plan to use bed liner on the lower half (body line down). I wasn't going to, but since the Edelbrock carb that was on it when I bought it caught fire the last time I had it out and made a big burnt spot on the hood, so I'll probably rattle can the top half. I want it to look nice but not so nice that I'm worried about scratching the paint.

It has a newly rebuilt Q-Jet now, so hopefully no more fires when I get it off level.

i usually cant find carpet kits without the back part, i only want the front. i still dont know if i want carpet upfront even still making my mind up i know im going to line x the entire floor after i fix certain spots and couple holes:/, so i guess i have till then. my exterior isnt so bad whoever painted it did an awful job at the clear coat so its chipping in areas and then while i was driving i got onto a back road where they were chipping and sealing it so i have bits and pieces of tar along the bottom of the fenders. and the rocker panels are falling apart too, basically the only really sound bit of the truck is the drive train haha which is good i suppose.

Have you thought about just getting the carpet for a K10?
That should just cover the lower portion of the floor pan (no back piece).

Or if you aren't worried about it being a custom molded carpet you can get automotive carpet by the roll pretty cheap, and cut it to fit yourself. Any upholstery shop will have it or know where to get it.

I have actually never thought of using a carpet out of another style truck that would Polly fit exactly wouldn't it? But I have thought of the automotive carpet but I think if I go with carpet id like molded

A truck has a different floor pan shape then a Blazer so that probably would not work to well.
You could check with ACC you might be able to get them to sale you just the front half.

That's crazy but makes me wanna try something like that IV been trying out airbrushing lately. Not that good yet tho lol

I went line-x all through. Much preferred, with no carpet to worry about for messes or whatever. Only drawback is if I ever want to remove the tunnel, or make an access point to the fuel pump, I'm hesitant to do that.
