anyone ever do this? What fitment issues did you run into?
Yuproll pan like they do on 2wd trucks?
I have never done it but I want to make a bumper like that for my suburban but a little thicker material so I can improve my departure angleanyone ever do this? What fitment issues did you run into?
Well I can tell you it's a nightmare... Lol... Gotta cut the frame horns off, notch the body crossmember, and move the two frame crossmembers forward about a inch and a half to move the tank forward. I used the sir Michaels pan with the indent for the plate and I had to clearence that for the hinges... Moral of the story... Don't do it... Ya you do lose them but I mean it's not that heavy... I think my '09 Silverado tailgate weighs damn near the sameSo the big pins that the assist springs for the stock gate get pruned when the frame horns got whacked off right? Ought to make the gate fun to close.
