What is the difference between the K5 and the K10? My Blazer is a K10 but nobody in Sweden seems to know the difference...
Dan

the answer you were given in the previous post is correct.. perhaps someone rebadged your truck
there never has been a k10 blazer...ever

what does your fender badge say? it should say K5. Seems ive read on titles, etc. it says k10 because its designated a half ton. Even in the GM production paperwork it is labeled as a K10, however it was badged a k5. GM insanity lol.

You're right. It says K10 in my papers. "GM insanity", seems you're right there too then! /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

If its a blazer or jimmy it's a K5, huh, coloradok5.com. This is a blazer/jimmy web site right? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

They're called K5 Blazers..... They are titled as K10 trucks, as in 1/2 ton trucks... To throw a wrench in the system, my Wife's truck is a V10..... Go figure, but it says K5 on the side!

Short answer: K/5 is a badge on the outside of Blazer in some years.

K/10 refers to the power train (4WD 1/2ton) which is shared between Blazers and Suburbans and pickups. Some people also use it to just mean pickups.
