woohoo, 1st reply! k = 4x4 5 = 1/2 ton so K5 means 4x4 1/2ton

k10 also means 1/2 ton 4x4 
k5 is just a name given to the Blazer to differentiate them from pickups .
on paper they are ALL k10's . Look at the fine print on the rear of the Blazer brochures on Dremu's webpage
