I love the plush velour dash and purple seats:haha:

The 90's called, they want their truck back.

Looks more like the 80s to me. Lets see...Bad Medicine was off of New Jersey which came out in 1988. The "say no to drugs" is a nice touch on the tailgate too which would be from the Reagan years. My guess is the the finished product was unveiled to the mulleted masses in 1989.

Even if it were mechanically and structurally perfect, you would spend big money to not make it so pastel and dated. Oh the irony. :haha:

It needs about 10 more shocks, then I will buy it. Also I am disappointed in the amount of neon colors. No hot pink steering linkage? C'mon now

I like it:D

Reminds me of when I was a kid. Most things I liked as a kid, I still like now.

I think it's one of those trucks that was built back then, and has survived as is until now.

I actually remember that truck being featured in 4 wheel and offroad back in the late 80's. IIRC it had 44" FC's on it back then.
I still don't know about the dual D44's, especially the rear with the angled d-shaft. But then again it's a show truck so :dunno:

I love the 80's as much as anyone, its just if it were me I would want to "update" the look of the truck. I am sure the owner wants a good amount for a "pedigree" such as this...especially if it has been featured in magazines. I would just think that anyone in a position to buy this truck would factor in the cost to update its looks. I don't care how sweet this truck is mechanically I wouldn't sit in a lawn chair at shows perpetuating its legacy with its' current color scheme. That's just me though.

Some things just dont age well no matter how popular they were at the time. This truck's paint/color scheme is one. The bright teal trucks that were coming from Detroit in the early 90s is another good example.

Yeah dana 44 front axle on the rear? I guess it was never intended to drive far with no cooling fan.
The seats look like they were wrapped in a latex body suit, who seriously thinks this was cool?

i was so anti-80's, in the 80's..... :haha: the days of teal and fuscia hotrods, god i hated it...

it was the same in the skateworld.. everyone was wearing bike shorts, weird colors, flock of seagull haircuts, etc.... me? camo cargo shorts and black T's! f*ck all that fru-fru cr*p......
