K5 output shaft removal?

i have a 2wd output shaft in my car and want to put in a 4wd output shaft hot do i remove the shaft and and put one back in???

What exactly do you want to do to need a 4x output shaft.you can't just put on a 4x output shaft without having a transfer case to link it to. Or a custom tail housing to use the shorter output shaft.

its a 700R4 2wd transmission. and how would i replace the output shaft to make it a 4wd output shaft. i dont know how to remove it.

Changing the output shaft on an auto trans requires complete disassembly of the unit.

Do you have like a video or a step by step pics of the disassemble of the 700r4 transmission?

You have to take the whole thing apart and you should rebuild it if you are going inside of it to change the shaft. You also need the correct tail shaft and I'm not sure what else to connect it to your 4x transfer case. It seems like it would be much easier to get the correct trans to use to begin with.
