i was looking for a pan hard for my k5 and saw that twizted engeering made one but cant find a webpage for them does anyone eles make one or know where i can get one.

Panhard bar and leaf springs on a truck with wheel travel is no good. they fight each other.

Mr.Clean here has an 01 f250 and I don't understand why they have the panhard.. Your comment is what I was thinking. Wouldn't it be murder on busings?? :dunno:

A properly designed one will work wonders on soft springs and frame twist. You lose a bit of articulation, but the same can be said of traction bars as well. It HAS to be parallel to the draglink though.

Call the guys at Offroad Design and visit with them about their panhard woes. They spent a bunch of time trying to make it all work right and last I heard, it seemed like more headache than it was worth.

To me it seems pointless. The beautiful thing about leaf springs is there is no side to side movement of the axle when the suspension cycles (at least not a real noticeable amount). Why put pivot points on something so simple that just plain works??:dunno:

The only thing I can see it helping is for crossover steering to avoid bump steer, but if you don't have cross over it seems real pointless to me. But then again I don't get into flexing situations like many of you. I just want my axles to go straight up and down.

Are you in Ennis Mt?

I am pretty close to you.

If you are looking for a kit I assume your truck is lifted.

IIRC the panhard kit from them was a couple hundred bucks. You could probably sell your current lift springs for a 100 bucks. You are getting mighty close to a custom leaf pack that will not only help your side to side problem but will make the truck ride much much better.

Little more info on the truck would be nice to really offer a solution.

Trac bars and leaf springs don't get along too well. But can be made to kind of work
