Got this K5 to be a classic daily driver that turned into a project. After a crate motor, AC converted to 134, and adding 3 inches of lift to the rear to level it(was squatted ), I finally got it close to my satisfaction. If I can just get my friends and loved ones to stop calling it a bronco. I’m having issues with my power windows and my tailgate window. They are very slow and they all have new motors and regulators. Was thinking about getting a bigger battery and alternator. Tailgate window needs help the last couple inches to close even with new motor, cable, and regulator. Any suggestions? I’m new to the forums so forgive me if I double posted this.

Welcome to the site!

Check all your connections and lube the regulators. Might need to replace the motors. You can test each motor with 12v straight to them. Some people had luck with these aftermarket relays.

Thanks man!! I’ll definitely check out LMC for those power harnesses. I had a shop put in my new motors and regulators so I didn’t see any of the work done. Maybe I just need to go back and double check all the connections.
