Had the beast detailed yesterday. Kept it a little rough but getting some nice gloss from the 40 year old AZ Sun exposed blazer. I couldn’t afford the wet sand and what I tried myself looked like, doo doo.
Still has some imperfections, hail dings, road dents some bite marks from moisture etc etc. You know, character.
Anyway it came out pretty boss
Since i bought the truck in March 2019 Ive installed:
New 350 sbc
Edelbrock 650 AVS
Champion aluminum radiator
Headman long tubes headers
Black Widow 250venom mufflers.
2- 14’ electric fans
Wires and looms
Battery
Alternator
Starter
PS pump and hoses
Dakota digital gauges
Herculiner the cab and inside
ORD twin stick install
TCase oil change
New-ish suburban third for my rear seat.
Transmission mounts(soon)
Tranny pan (soon)
Fixed a few other odds and ends, pulled AC and heater box inside engine bay. Still need to remove heater ducts in the cab
Next will be weatherstripping on the doors and wondows
