I need to move my rear leaf spring pads back to the stock location, might anyone know the angle to the pinion? TIA

You need to measure on your rig. There isn't a set specific angle.

Thanks. Yes I guess it is possible that when they were built new at the Chevy they did set the spring pads based on suspension options. So not all junkyard K5 rears would have the same angle. I'll just have to measure and get the pinion parallel to the trans.

When I measured the original axle out of my '90 K5, I got 12* up with the spring pads level. I seriously the SF14 at that and all is good, even with the 1" zero-rate.
That truck has has 4 different rear axles under it since I have had it, and this last one was the only one which wasn't factory stuff. No problems with the angle on any of them.
Now if I went with any more lift, I see that I may run into problems. The new axle, spring pads, and the zero-rate have all raised the rear 2" total.

Now that I think about it, I have 2 rear axles laying around that I can check.
But the info that I posted was from a note of mine from when I did the axle swap.
I happened to find it today.

The factory 10b in my short bed K10 and the 14bsf (from a 96 rclb 2500 4x4) that replaced it were both 11* up at the pinion with the pads level, 12* on a k5 would make sense to me.
