All this talk of safety here recently has got me to thinking about a rollcage. I was thinking about buying the kit from Essentially Offroad. Does anyone here have any experience with this shop or their products? It seems like a good price to me, compared to what some shops want to charge for a cage. Is it worth it? Does anyone know if they come pre-notched?

That is a decent looking starter cage but for the price I would invest in a bender and do it my self. Sure you will have more into the cage when your done but you will be able to build as many cages as you want, along with tube bumpers, whatever.

If you think you will never build but one cage then no dont go that route, but if your looking into a cage, your probably looking into bumpers, sliders. Not to mention you can build it like you want it and not settle for whats out there, which ain't much. I bought myown bender and I building my cage right now. I have done a cage for my bud who paid me, I built a tube winch bumper for my suburban. Going to build a front/rear bumpers for my K5. Building tube doors. what you build is up to you. You just have to buy tube.
