Are K5 factory roof racks hard to find or come by on 87/88 body style?

I might be speaking out of turn, but I'm not sure there was ever a "factory" roof rack. There might have been at one point, GM had some different options thats for sure, I just can't recall one being factory off the top of my head.

The brochures show a luggage rack and they say that it was a dealer installed accessory.
they're hard to come by. I don't know if they were still available for the years you specified, but they did make them for 2nd Gen half cabs for sure, and an earlier year's should fit. I've been trying to hunt one down for a while, but can't find one local, and don't want to pay shipping.

looks like bottom one on the K5 it is not super long like it would fit a burb.

I know many want a "factory" look, but I used an 80-90s ford aerostar roof rack, It fit nice and looks great, and can be had at junkyard for 10-20bux.
And you can add or subract bars and accessories, etc.

I think the K5 one is the top right. The 'burban one has rails that mount directly to the top (like you see on old station wagons), whereas on the others, the rails are part of the rack.
