So after disappearing for about a year and a half, I got myself another K5! I sold the last blazer I had and the wife's truck I was talking about building and "deployed" to South Korea for 7 months. Got her into a new vehicle when I got back, then spent about 2 months getting yanked around by people trying to sell vehicles on CL...before I found a retired MSgt trying to sell an 84' K5, maroon, red interior, 350/700r4/208, 10 bolts...nothing too special, but in pretty good shape. It has 4" superlift springs up front, blocks in the rear and 33x14.50-15 swamper sts tires on 15x14 eagle allow wheels...not my choice but it doesn't look half bad. Also had a pretty decent stereo in it with a couple 12" subs in the back, but someone decided they needed them more than I do and I woke up a couple weeks ago with glass all over the drive way and no speakers.

they still rub on the rear a bit a full crank but I'm not worried about trimming anymore until the new shoes are on.
With a 37, I think you'd be in a great spot with 5.13s. I run them on my 38s, which sit closer to a 37.5 and think it's great. I have a friend with the same drivetrain as you, and he's running 4.56s and 37s and wishes he had 5.13s. The only difference between my drivetrain and yours is that I have the 241 t-case, which isn't going impact this discussion much.
