K5 Shifter

Hi,

I am trying to order my husband a custom shifter knob for his k5 1981 Custom Blazer as a surprise, Ive done some research on how to measure the thread size but wanted to check on here first before trying to attempt it myself, if anyone might know the thread size, and any info on the Transfer case measurements or how i would configure them and how to find out if the Trans shifter is manual or automatic I guess in order to get him a knob for the 4x4 as well.

Also any recommendations for a company that makes a good quality custom shifter knob , hes all about buying things that are good quality so i want to make sure this is top of the line for him. Ive found some places online but would perfer recommendations.

Sorry I can't answer your question, but awesome gift and great to see that you appreciate his hobby. I'll try and do a little research myself for you. By the way, I don't know if it makes any difference but do you know what kind of transfer case he has?
