Hello,
I have a 91 GMC Jimmy with a 2.5-3 inch suspension lift on 33s. I was looking for shock recommendations that had the increased length from the lift. The part numbers on the old ones are unreadable, so I could not cross reference to find them. Looking for cheaper options but willing to pay for quality if it is worth it. Thanks.

Bilstien shocks are your best bang for the buck for a quality shock. Offroad Design and many other vendors have them available.

Each different brand of lift and how it’s set up on your truck will change the shock. In that aspect it’s best to call someone like ORD and give them all of those details so they can make sure you get the right one

like others have said, Bilsteins. ORD has a chart on their website with the appropriate part # for lift/length.

It's pretty popular to relocate the front shock mounts so you can run longer shocks up front, so think about future mods before you buy. But if you run a swaybar it doesn't really matter. What kind of lift springs do you have?

Bilstein 33-230320
Travel 9.24’’
Extended 24.35’’
Compressed 15.11’’
360/80 valving

I have these in my 89’ Jimmy in the Aux position/ more vertical
Work great
Had 255/70 valving in stock/less vertical positions too soft for me with 3” tuffcountry soft ride
