Let me start by saying "yes, I have read all previous posts on this topic and have tried them all". I have taken my window motor and scissor track out, oiled and lightly greased all joints, pivots, and anything else that moved. I've rebuilt the electric motor too, but the window won't roll up properly. Let me clarify something too. I have recently replace all window rubber, weatherstripping, and seals, so the window is tight. I can raise and lower the glass by hand, so it's not too tight. Regardless, the window won't roll up without me helping it by hand.
Here are the two last remaining things I'm gonna try before I give up.
1.) go buy a reman window motor (maybe my diy rebuild job didn't do the trick).
2.) run a dedicated (thick) power wire from the battery to door, connect it to two relays, and wire it up to get more/better power.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I've taken the window assembly completely apart 3 times now trying to figure out why it won't roll up/down like it should.
Frankly, I hate getting the rollers back into place, so I'd like the next time I take it apart to be the last time.
