Very cool! I did a burnout the other day in my driveway in ym S-10 Blazer. Had no idea that the little 2.8 could turn the tires like that! Can't wait to get my 84 K5 so I can really turn the tires!

Just pray that the 84 you get isn't afflicted with 3.08 gears, a 700r4, and a 305 like mine, fortunately though I have a decent 350, and a th350/np205 combo that should get swapped in pretty soon.

A broken 84 k5 and lots of mud, it sucks to be me

Tire roastin' kicks @$$!

I did a smoke show with my 87 jimmy once. I was so mad and had to do something in the parking lot so I wouldn't drive home like amaniack!!!!!!!!(sp??) It felt great!! I couldn't see anything front, back left or right. I must have sat there for about a minute!!!! Roasting tires is the best feeling!

last time i tried smokin the tires i poped a u joint...but i know damn well why it happened...i had way to many in the blazer, full load of 5. too much weight on the back tire to try to get it to break loose.....that happened like the first week i had it..like 3 years ago

I've got a 305 with a 700R4 and I've roasted the tires twice. Not for BIG HUGE smokey burnout, just enough to get em smoking alittle bit since I can't afford new tires just yet. I've got 3.43 gearing though so thats a bit easier than with 3.08's I'd assume

That 84 does have 3.07 gears, but it's got a Turbo 350 tranny and a NP208 and I got a Pontiac 400 along with it that wll hopefully fit in it. Anybody know if a Pontiac 400 will fit? I've already got all sorts of parts for it.

to do this, take ur left foot, and put it on the breake, and hold it as hard as u can, then slam the grass w/ the right foot, and hold it as long as u want.
i never do it in my blazer, but in my moms and dads jeeps..... do it all the time!!!!!
