K5 to Truck swap????

Ok I have the chance to buy a 1980 short bed for cheap.
My wheeler now is a 88 K5. How hard would it be to swap
the engine/tranny/t-case and the fuel injection system.
Just thinking about it the axles will bolt right on. The frame should be the same as the K5 for motor tranny ect or did I miss something?
The truck is missing doors the ones off the K5 should fit.
Also do you all know if the lift kit and the ORD shackle flip is the same as the Truck? sorry for all the stupid questions also if anyone has any advise or possitives or negitives let me know

Yeah it will bolt back and forth except your rear drive shaft wont work on the truck.

Why not put the truck body on the K5 frame and flat bed it. It would actually be less work that way and with the flat bed you could relow the tank and cut it off right behind the rear springs and have a better departure angle.
