K5 Top interchange question

I have an '88 K5 that i'd like to replace the topper on and recently found one locally off a '76. Question is will it work as a direct replacement with same fit as '88?

Does the ‘88 have shoulder harness belts for the back seat? Can’t remember when that started. Should be the only difference I can think of.
