K5 tow rating

what is the tow rating for one of these things? I have a 6000 pound tow package on my 1/2 ton 88 but what was the stock rating? How much past the stock rating have you pulled? I have a 350 hp 400 ft lb torque 355.

I pulled our 21 foot camper trailer all over the western side of Canada and the US, probably 10,000 miles or more. This was with my K5 when it was still on smallish 35's and a 4" lift, 3.73's and an SM465.

That trailer tips the scales at ~5200 lbs or so with all our junk in it. The key is getting the tongue weight correct (approx 10% of the trailer weight) and using a weight distributing hitch.

It towed fine
