i have an 83 k5. today after fixing some electrical demons that i was dealing with i decide to take it for a spin. I haven't been able to drive it for the past year due to certain "restrictions," but i do take it around the neighborhood every once in awhile to keep things flowing. Today after driving up a mild 1/8 mile grade i hear something that sounds like a window vibrating or a hissing sound coming from under the truck. First i thought it was something outside then i realized it was me, then as im coming to a stop im getting this bucking happening that i can feel through the steering wheel and i can actually see my frond end jerking! around the corner it is making popping noise and when i slowed down it sounded like when you slow down in a truck with something in the bed sliding forward and hitting the back of your cab. Like somehting slid foreward and hit or was spinning and caught. The motor seemed to be running fine and the trans was shifting properly. Then after awhile i took it out again to see if i could get more details on what is happening but nothing happened, it just drove normal. I will try again tomorrow to see what i can find but if anybody has any ideas id like to hear them. thanks
