went to move the k5 today and it fired up as usaul then went to rev and it reved the back fired out of carb which it usually does since i have the choke wired open and i live in flagstaff az at 7000ft elevation so its hard to start and keep runing in the winter. but this time it wont fire and just studders. i put 4 brandnew spark plugs in it. the old ones were really wet with gas. and i would let it sit for 15mins then try and its the same. then tried 30 mins later its still the same, then 1hr later and still no fire. and i looked down the butterflys of it and looked really wet with gas. so im thinkn the performer carb i have on ther took a crap. so im not sure im wanting to keep this carb reasons being i dont think its performing as good as a quadrajet would. i have a 350 motor with world 64cc iron heads with 202 valves and a lopey cam. ive ran the same heads on another 350 motor and a rv cam with a quadrajet and it ran alot stronger then the new motor i putem on. i have a stock converter too. but even the power range dont feel as strong. im thinking of puting a quadrajet?
