Keep blowing brakelight fuse!!! help

There must be a short somewhere, is there anywhere I should check first,before I tear my entire truck apart?

check the trailer connector , I think thats what you call it

ooh good point,thanks, I dont ever pull anything but it does have a crusty connecter on it....I bet thats where its coming from...

i Second the trailer wiring harness. Normally, they form a T and plug in between the right and left side brake/turn harnesses. If you don't ever pull anything, just remove the T in teh middle. If you still want it, i reccomend the Uhaul ones.....they have good diagnostic indicator lights on them. Good luck!

I just went out to the Blazer to just look at it real quick and I have 2 plugs and someone has pulled all the wires out and messed with them, this should be a simple fix, thanks again guys...

I learned that from when my turn signal lights kept blowing, I checked the trailer connector and it was starting to melt.
