I was going to try and wait and get these mounted up before I posted pics but I couldn't take it any longer:D I'm having my friend weld these up over the weekend before I get them powdercoated. I'll get some shots posted up after I get them all mounted. Thanks again Kert, these turned out even better than I imagined!

Wow, that's some quality looking work. Once you mount those up and start driving around with them, I'd say you're up for the "Member of the Year" award......:thumb:

If we had such an award, I guess............

How about pics for the deaf guy who's too broke to re-up his memebership?

OK, that was lame.

kinda wheelin im into (which is none at all) id never need those but dam do i want a set for my K5!

How about some rim rings then? You know Kert makes rings to weld on your steel wheels, makes the bead srtonger, but isnt a beadlock.
Im pretty sure he could do close to the same thing With those. In fact I bet he can do almost anything you can dream up.

Looks awesome, GREAT work as usual Kert.

you know i was thinkin about somethin like that i really like too sport the DIY4X and CK5 logos cause this place rocks, im definantly gettin my gear from kert in the future!

I can't say enough about Kert.....he's a stand up guy in my book. Easy to talk to, great products, great service. He'll always have my business! Got my rims back from the welder today, primered the inner rings and outer rings and will have them painted up by this weekend. Plenty of pics to follow!

Got some more work done on the beadlocks today, not completely finished but I'm getting there. It's been raining the last three days and I don't like to paint in the garage with the gas furnace in the garage:eek1:

Anyway, got the rims back from the welder and primered the inner rings. Then I primered the outers and wet sanded with 220. Went to Les Schwab looking for longer valve stems and they GAVE me these bitchin heavy duty stems they use on semi's and industrial trucks. I had the welder weld up the factory valve stem hole and then had to drill 5/8" hole in a different location to have better access. Painted the outers the same as the truck but had a couple of runs I didn't like so I wet sanded them again and they will be ready to go tomorrow. Also picked up 150 Grade 5 3/8" bolts and nylon lock nuts at the local Fastenal store. I plan on using BB's to balance these suckers....I weighed about 12 oz's per tire but that may change depending how bad the vibration is. I attempted to mount one of my Irok bias plys using soapy water....those freakin sidewalls are stiff! I may need to use a ratchet strap in the future!
