Killer Snow footage

I loved running in snow. The last day Paragon was open we had 8" of fresh snow. Best day there, ever.

snow wheelin is fun as HELL :saweet:

your rig better be built for it . or you can over heat and or get stuck hard fast . . . . kind of like playing in sand but other end of the temp scale .

And hide many objects underneath....better know your trail!

I've seen a frozen snowbank tear a front axle right out of a 4x4 before!..
Frozen snow is only second to concrete in strength sometimes..

Guy was speeding down a slippery street, got sideways, and then hit the snowbank a plow left head on..truck went right up over the bank, but the front axle stayed in the snowbank!--tore the leaf springs out of the shackles and frame brackets....

Thats awesome, great scenery too.

Unfortunately snow (or the hint of snow) around here means salt, so I dread driving older vehicles between the first threat of snow and Spring time.

Looks killer. But, if I didn't know every inch of the terrain I'd be butt hole tight thinking I'm gonna hit a big as bolder!!

2019 11 25-26, at Centennial(our house, measured with a yardstick) we had just over 13 inches. Estes Park had over 32 inches, which was also good for Eldora. And since my Ford Fusion is the absolute worst vehicle in the snow, I had the opportunity to take my '79 K5 to work. Yahoo!

More snow was coming in during the day so I parked in the parking garage and as I was going in, the low clearance sign scraped of most of the snow off the cab and top, ha. I'm hoping we have more coming this winter...

And again, that deep snow confirmed how much better the pizza cutter (32x9)tires get around than the 33x12 that had been on.
