Killing a np208

your files not found.

and on the other hand drain the fluid from it, put sand and vinigar in their seal it up and drive around in 4lo for a while it will burn right up.
although i like 208's but whatever,
switching to a 205?

luke

drive around in 4 lo for a long time in mud with no fluid, shell go real quick.

I'd hit it with a 30-06 after it blows from about 200 yards out standing behind a tree.

Hello,
Cool, the damn things is half burnt up all ready. The #$^#%^&$^ that installed the tranny forgot to put fluid in the T-case plus they did not use a gasket so after it blew when ever I tryed to put some fluid in her it just pissed out while going down the road.

Hey if you want the damn thing it's your's I don't even wan't money for it. Hell I will even send you a new gasket kit for it because as soon as I drop it I am going to tear it open to see what blew in the first place.

No I am going to stick in another NP208. To much work making a Np205 work.
Thanks

Just drain all the ATF and drive it locally. In fact, leave the drainplug out for good measure. I wouldn't advise going over 35mph, and it may not be a bad idea to rig a driveshaft loop to avoid doing a pole vault on the road if the U-joint at the T-case breaks when it seizes up (whew!).

I'm all set with that. I don't fill like killing my whole rig. I love that truck.
Thanks
Adam

dont do anything like what these guys are recommended. Believe me, the auto gods WILL strike you down in vengence. When the 208 goes it WILL take something you want with it. Its just not worth the risk dude... if you want it dead, remove it and shoot it full of holes or something, dont try explosive destruction of a drivetrain part when its IN your drivetrain. Thats just a recipe for disaster.

Yea I think I just might take your option. I don't want to kill my engine, driveshaft, or anything other than my t-case. But do you think a np208 would fit on a isuzu pup? :D
Thanks
Adam

hmmm..... I doubt it and if it did you would have about 5 inches of ground clearence assuming its a stock pup. Just don't think you could clock up enought to make it useful.

Depends on what kind of tranny they have... I have absolutly no clue what kind of trannies they put in em.

If its lifted ground clearence shouldn't be a problem.

No I don't think I will do that. The pup has enough left to take another big killing. Hey if you want the Np208 shoot me a e-mail: [email protected] and I will get it set up for you. Like I said I will give you a free set of np208 gaskets because I want to open her up to see what's blew.
Thanks
Adam
