Kind of a weird question. Im looking at kings website for replacement parts and they list an o-ring between the 2 secondary nuts. My question, does youre coilovers have that o-ring? Whats the purpose of it?
Is it fine to run the coilover without the o-ring?

Reason i ask, i purchased 4 coilover shocks used from private party and it didnt have any coilover hardware...so essentially its just the shock that i have. Im not sure if i need that o-ring or not.

Thanks

Yes, there ‘was’ an oring on mine when they were new. They dry rotted and fell apart the second time I went to move them. So far I prefer it without the oring. It’s a pain in the ass to position.
