How do I check to see if my kingpin is bad?
I'm getting some steering wobble that I didn't have before I installed my crossover steering. I'm trying to figure out if it's my stabalizer shock or my king pin.

when you put you steering arm on the passenger side, did you inspect the spring and the plastic cone spacer?

Most likely your kingpins are good. You probably have worn springs or a broken bushing.

x2. Pull them apart and if the bushing looks good try throwing in a fender washer or two the size of the cap to shim the spring. If that doesn't work then they probably need a rebuild

The spring and cone both looked fine. I'll pull it apart again and double check it. In the event I need to shim it w/ washers where do they go? For example under the spring between the spring and cone or on top.
