KM2's vs MTR Kevlar

I bought 5 of the mtrs in 35x12.5 r15 two years ago. I only drove 6 months on them. (my blazer has been off the road for a year) I only have 3 left that hold air and 1 of those three had to be replaced for a sidewall bulge / blowout with only about 300 miles on it. The tread wear is way quicker than my old tsls.

So is it correct that the old MTR'S are not the same? I ask because I bought a set with my '72 K5. They seem great and I had a couple of comments on the fact that I had first series.

So when they are done, don't buy another set?

On the flip side, I heard from my local tire shop, that they had seen BFG 's get out of round recently. They said it was 3 in one set. But this thread says opposite.

As shitty and as my old bias tsls were on the road, I trusted them to hold air and get me from here to there. I definitely can't say the same about the mtrs. I won't be buying another set. @ktmoutfront has had his longer and maybe he will chime in.

I hear good things about the older style mtrs as tires, but supposedly the new ones have superior traction off road in any environment.
