Can i take a knock sensor from say a 3.4l v6 and put it on my 350tbi. I have one laying around and don't feel like paying 90 bucks for a new one.

I doubt it. Because of the diferent harmonics between a 6 cyl and an 8 cyl.
Might try to cross reference the part# on an internet parts site. Maby you will luck out the number is the same.

i guess you could try it, if it fits, but i wouldn't really count on it working.
