yes, passenger side of the block. It screws into the water jacket. Look for the single wire that runs to a small round metal can looking things. It is about the size of a Half Dollar in diameter.

Yes it is near the starter. And like he said in the water jacket so it will leak when you pull it. Learned the fun way.

Not trying to hi-jack the thread or anything but after I installed my TBI when my knock sensor gets wet the motor seems to skip or misfire per say. I'm only guessing that this is the problem because I have inadverantly stood there with a water hose and sprayed this side of the motor ( pass side) and listened to the motor start skipping or missing. Anyone have any ideas what in the world that would be? I can't seem to find it and it's driving me nuts. Sorry for the Hijack.

Are you sure it's the knock sensor? Getting water on the spark plugs/wires can cause a misfire if there are any cracks in either.
