Knuckle interchange D44

Hey guys, I got a 3/4 ton Dana 44(has no turning hubs, just a bolted on cap) out of a Chevy truck. A friend has a 1/2 ton D44 with the passenger knuckle machined for the crossover steering arm(has arm and drag link), my question is- can I swap that knuckle onto my 3/4 ton frontend? My friend thinks you can, but didn't seem 100% sure.

Just make sure the tie rod end goes through the knuckle the same direction as yours (up vs down)
