How well did they work and what year Blazer (full Size?)? Does he like them? How old are they?

I installed them on an 89 K5, 6" lift running 35's and work good for what they are. She also likes them. Bought them brand new and I put them on last summer. The electrical switch(which is mounted in the jamb)was a major PITA to get lined up to work properly(they only have a 1/6" margin or they don't work).

My opinion is I wouldn't use them. They rattle like a mofo on the pivot arm

I've had a set on my Ferd for about 6 months. No problems to date. (and no rattles)

I've seen them not work on trucks that are up to the doors in water. (other people's) They are electric and you have to treat them as such.

Overall, a good option for me.

Thanks for the input. I like the idea better than the Carr steps I have now.....

If you require steps and have the CARR's now...I'd definitely go the sidewinder route.

Those carrs can cause some serious damage if they ever hit anything (like a parking lot bollard....don't ask now I know)
