How many guys are planning on going to King of the Hammers this year? I wanted to plan some kind of event but I need to make sure that people would actually attend lol.

How far is Giant Rock? I have camped there a bajillion times.

I drive down the main road to where I can see hammer town. Then make a left and drive up the hill to the base of the hill where you can't go any further in a semi.

And don't try to drive the semi out without the Jimmy on it. Not enough traction. I got stuck.

Giant rocks not too far but it's far enough to be a decent drive offroad

Yeah, I have driven from there up to Johnson Valley, but it's been years.

It's possible we'll have other big trucks so we won't be camping off firm dirt.
What dates are you planning on?

I'll check out the distance, but wade won't get the rig out that far, the road last time I was there 10 years was kinda soft.

The one in from the integratron right up to the giant rock wasn't too bad. I think his rig could make that. Maybe I'll prerun it Thanksgiving. haha.

I don't know thing one about KOH, don't even know when it is. But sounds like I'd be in for something. My only days off are Fri Sat-Sun.

The main road is graded. Most teams and vendors are in semi's. I'm only a 1/4 mile from the road on hard pack.

I was just talking to the wife because I'm 30mins from the lake but I want to shower every day.. also run for fuel food ice etc.. maybe I'll leave the keys to Lucy with wade..
