hey!
i have a 86'blazer,700r4,32"tires,3.08 gear
the 305 has a whole in it so im gonna put a 350 tuned port in it,already have a painless harness and computer. My question is what are the wires on the drivers side of the trans for, where do they go?I dont know if i have to hook them up to something or just hook up the detent cable???getting very confused!!!!!
thanx

Those wires control the torque converter lock-up. I'm not sure what you need to hook them up to, but they are necessary. In third and fourth gear, the torque converter will lockup based on throttle input, speed, etc. It is advised that you keep the lockup though on the 700r4 because without it you'll create excessive heat when it slips. Sorry I can't tell you more about where/how to hook it up, but that's what it's for. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
