Looking for front lap belts for a 75 Jimmy/Blazer. Anyone have any, or know where I could find some? TIA.

I have this set in my 74 K20 yard art truck. I don't know if there is any difference for a K5 other than no center belt needed. $20 plus $15 for a medium flat rate if you can use them.

I also know a gal in Ohio that will restore your original belts as well if you would rather go that route.

The k5’s use a shorter retractor in the front Than the ones that came in trucks. What color are these belts Ken?

Yeah, the problem is...I don't have the originals. Recently bought a '75 Jimmy (project), and it had early '90s buckets, with some ghetto style non-matching belts attached to them. I wanna replace them with original style. I've tried searching, and can't even find a good pic of what the blazer belts even look like.‍♂️

73-75 k5 front seat belts look like this. These retractors in my opinion are the hardest to find. the buckle side is universal to the trucks so mixing and matching that side, even for the rear isn’t hard. But good luck finding this style.

i totally understand wanting and original look and have tried to horde parts for my builds to have an all original look. There’s nothing worse than seeing a nice factory setup and little details like the correct belts not being used. If you don’t find the original style I’d do one of a couple things.

1. use 69-72 style belts. The retractor covers have a longer cover and actually hold the belt up to grab a lot higher than 73-75 style. Plus the buckle sides are the same as 73-75. you can actually get 69-72 reproductions that are pretty nice. These will get you the closest look.

2. use a later style GM belts from a newer k5 or truck

Yeah, I'm not going for a complete numbers matching restoration or anything, so I'm fine with using ones that arent exact. I just didnt know if the truck ones would work or not, since I think the floor's a little different?(anyone used these truck retractors in a K5, have pics?)

I've seen the 69-72 repros, and am fine with them, but didnt realise they would work. Not sure why no one makes the 73-75 style.

As far as using a later style....they all have shoulder belts. I'm mainly going for lap belts, like the originals, but doesn't have to be year specific, necessarily. Just dont really wanna go with the aftermarket generic "airline style" belts.
