Been meaning all week to post up a few pics of the memorial day run at Knoxville IA. The event was hosted by MIOBI. They put on a good event.
Unfortunately, with the shop schedule being the way it is right now I didn't want to lose my handle on things so we only stayed for a short time on Saturday afternoon. Long enough to crack the frame and to listen to the axle joints in the 44 start to complain. OH, and mashed the passenger B pillar-striker area, pretty good. Took the forklift to make it door worthy again. I am happy to report the DIY beadlocks with the Wire rod on the inside is good to holding a 16.5 down to 2lbs. so far without any trouble.
Here's some pics.
We know more than convinced the doors to go back on the Sarge and were invited by Central Plains Truck Pullers, to come out and give the Sarge a shot at the sled so we'll see how that goes tomorrow night.
