so i have been reading several threads looking for options for our blazer. what year seats are best for fit on our 1988 blazer with front bucket seats? also with the rear bench, which rear bench if nay is a bolt in swap? did the next generation up suburbans third row work the same as our 1988 so they could bolt in and work?

also if i found front power buckets is it really a hot and a ground and the power seats will work?

Nothing is a direct bolt in unless it came in a square. Even from a square there are differences between Blazer, Truck and Suburban. You are going to have to do some fabrication or find some adapter brackets to use seats from another generation or model.

I used 99 yukon seats. I had to oval one set (F/R) of mounting holes slightly, and a small spacer to level. Power options were as easy as splicing two wires.

Good Luck!

also- the tracks from a late 90's silverado pickup work as well, and if you get them from an extended cab the passenger side will slide for rear seat access.
