What's the difference, how tough would it be to make a 2nd generation shackle flip (73+) work on a 71 Blazer?

I think you'd be better off buying the right kit, it would be a major surgery to make the later kit work on the early truck. The offset from the frame is off by over an inch and the drop from the frame is a couple inches more than it should be.

Looking at your site, the only one you offer for a first gen is a 4" lift. More than I need.

Can you make one in 2.5"?

We probably won't do a 2.5" lift for the early truck, the brackets get pretty goofy and the demand is somewhat low. I hate to not build this stuff but some volume is required.

Yeah, I just talked with your father.

I also just ordered 1200 worth of stuff... including the 4" flip kit.

Feel free to kick me a discount /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Was the shifter part of that? Or do we need to start a separate order?

Shifter was part of that, cross over steering, D60 rebuild stuff, shackle flip...
