latest ebay buy....

i bought a 1 ton k5 in NY, towed it home, dont think it cost me more than $300 in gas. but gas was probably cheaper then

Hmmm I've never really paid attention to it but I never knew Ford D60's used 4 u-bolts... I figured they used 3 like the Chevy D60's...

Nice buy!

Figure 20 bucks each way on the tolls, go around baltimore will save on tolls can't avoid much else. have fun on the George Washington bridge. Listen to 1010 am when you get to North Jersey. They have traffic every ten or eleven minutes. Will be fun!!!!!

prolly gonna head up to formuds and stay the night (hvnt asked him yet) then me and him will head up to ny and get come back and depending on the time i will prolly stay there saterday night and come back sunday morning...one of the great things about meeting people off this site!!

That didn't take that long, now did it?:wink1:

nah sometimes you just get lucky...i figure even with going to get it i will have about 900 in it..im gonna sell the tires,d60 rear and the trans transfer case....hopefully i can get enough out of that to where it either pays for the gas or the truck...

nice, they have gas calculators..just google it..and amazing find, im in NJ and traffic sucks here let alone in ny.

What are you going to use for a TC? Keeping the 205 and using it with a doubler might be a good option.

someone hasnt been reading all the threads in the garage lately :shame:...got that all solved monte...:wink1:

I like this site a lot but my 2 year old takes priority and when I have more than 2 hours of free time, I actually go and work on a truck. I'm sure you will keep us posted on the build so I won't mention it (or did I :D). I decided to just buy another CUCV (M1028 in the sig), put a ORD 4" lift on and go. The HP 60 project takes along time, especially with my timetable. Good luck w. the build.
