is that Rhino lining or equivalent on the body and front grill? looks sweet! good job!

Sweet K5. Could you take some more pics of your high steer setup. I've searched this site and everytime someone talks about high steer, it turns into crossover. Yours is just the tierod above the springs right?

1. It is called speedliner and was sprayed on at the body shop. The complete interior is also done and the bed up and over the bed rails. Bottom of cab and up around the wheel wells, grill and under the wheel wells also.

2. When I got the axles they were set for just high steer. I will take some pics and they just had longer studs that went thru the steering arm and a normal style drag link. I am going crossover just haven't put the 2 wheel drive box and drag link in.

3. Well if I must I could go Dana 60. This 10 bolt is pretty beefed though with over size joints and supposedly chrome moly shafts. I guess I will find out at blazer bash if not before.

Thanks for the comments!! :D

Looks like a real nice K5. I really like how the liner is carried on the fender lip. Nice touch.

Nice lift too, is that your garage or a shop you are borrowing? Someday when I'm rich (hahahaaa) I want a lift in my man space :xmas:
Oh ya Nice job on the K5 too :D

in a word..........DAMN.......thats sweeeet

I like the color bombo, and the bling gas cap :D

Is speed liner only available in black?

Nope speed liner can be matched to just about any color!!!

Gas cap was from amp research in california. Got the idea from the avalanche in 4 wheel and off road. $145.00 when I bought it and way more for the body work to make it fit.
Any guesses on where the first rock is gonna hit?? I bet the gas cap will be like a big magnet!!

Garage and tools are borrowed along with welding / machining/ mechanic skills.

I did the lip of the fenders since I hacked away the old fender lines and wanted to outline the fenders somehow. After the plasma cutting it looked like it was missing something. Also hides my plasma / welding ability. Body guy helped with that too.

All it takes is time and money and both in very large doses!!! ;)
