Saw an add on another forum I frequent offering two Bilstein 5100 shocks that had 11,000 miles on them. Showed the compressed and extended lengths and body length of the shocks. Perfect for the front end of the jimmy.

They were free about 35 minutes from the house. Went by and grabbed them, installed on the jimmy. Much improved ride.

The old ones were I believe pro comp MX 6000 or something like that, they have been on the truck for 11 years and were shot.

Gotta love freebies.
